Inspiration & Research

I wanted to explore the grief, and anger, of a mother whose child has been brutally murdered, whilst in parallel looking at and questioning the inherent nature of institutional corruption. I researched this novel extensively, and some aspects of the storyline that pertains to the internal corruption within the psychiatric hospital are loosely based on fact.

Praise for Falling Suns

‘…Falling Suns is a stunning debut. Bold, visceral and intelligent, with not one word wasted… It would also make a wonderful film or TV drama.’
